NOTICE: YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER HAS CHANGED!!
(4/27/10) Very important! We are converting to a new software system that has new account numbers associated with it. If you use online banking, you will need to edit your payee information. If you do not update your payee information to reflect your new account number, your payment will be received by us, but may not be credited to your account.
Your new account number will be on your next bill. Please make a note of it and use it to update your online accounts. When calling, emailing, or making any other contact with us, please refer to your new account number.
If paying by check, it is very important to send your payment stub back with your check so we post your payment to the correct account. If your service address is not already clearly printed on your check, please write it in the memo line.
Thanks for helping us make sure your payments are correctly recorded! We apologize for the inconvenience, but it was unavoidable.
Payment Due Date
Your current bill is due by the 15th of the month. Please contact us if you expect your payment will be past due. A finance charge computed at a periodic rate of 1.5% monthly (annual percentage rate = 18%) may be assessed on past due balances of thirty days or more or $0.50 minimum.
Fees and Charges
For returned-check or EFT payments there is a fee of not more than $25.00. The reinstatement fee for service stopped due to non-payment is a maximum of $25.00.
Payment Options
Walker Garbage Service bills its residential customers on a bi-monthly
basis. The bill you receive is for two months of service.
A detailed explanation of your bill is below.
All payments made to Walker Garbage can take up to 5 days to process. This includes PayPal payments and hand delivered payments. We stop processing all payments at 2:00 pm daily.
Write a check
You may pay
your garbage bill by writing a check every other month and
mailing it to the address above, or dropping it into the
postage-free slot at Bales Thriftway in Cedar Mill (those payments are picked up weekly on Wednesday mornings).
Automatic Payment Plan
You can choose to
set up an auto-debit that
will pay the amount due directly from your checking account.
You can download and print the form to initiate auto-payments.
Return the form either in the mail
or by faxing it. NOTE: Setting up the auto-pay option can take up to one full billing cycle (two months) to complete. If you have an amount due at the time you sign up, please pay through your normal method or your account may show a past-due amount.
Pay Online
Many banks also allow you to set up payments
online. If you already use internet banking, explore the "Bill Pay" options
available to you by visiting your bank website or talking to a banking representative.
