Yard Debris Recycling

you are unsure when yard debris is collected on
your street, call the office at 503-531-6330 or
email us with your street address.
On your yard debris day, you can set out one 32-gallon can OR one
kraft paper yard debris bag (no plastic bags)
OR one bundle of yard trimmings
for pickup at no extra charge. Any additional cans,
bags, or bundles are only $2.76 each (Portland
residents $2.00, Beaverton residents $3.00).
ACCEPTABLE MATERIALS

curbside yard debris program includes:

grass clippings

branches and prunings*

*no greater
than 4" in diameter and 36" long.

Please do
not include:

dirt
|
stumps

metal
|
food waste

sod

lumber

ashes

household garbage

rocks

plastic
|
animal waste
|
|
It
is important not to use plastic bags, metal
clips, or plastic ties to set out your yard
debris. Plastics and metals do not decompose
and will contaminate the recycling process.
